Soldiers of World War II were, of course, the most valuable weapons by far throughout all the theaters of the war. However, they did use some impressive weaponry to help achieve their various objectives and missions, and this section focuses on some of this weaponry.
For example, the Infantry Weapons subsection above provides content about the M-2 .50 Browning Machine Gun, a weapon that has stood the test of time and is still in use today in Iraq. The Browning is just one of many fascinating weapons including planes, warships, vehicles and heavy equipment that can be found in the subsections above.
Needless to say, these are just a few of the weapons that fought and ended the Second World War.
