Fat Man was the code name of the atomic bomb, made from plutonium, that destroyed Nagasaki, Japan, on August 9, 1945. It was 128 inches long and 60 inches in diameter. The bomb was dropped from the B-29 named "Bock's Car".

Biography: Mr. Fikes was a Tail Gunner in a B-24 Liberator bomber on his 13th mission that just happened to be on his 19th birthday. He related some of the actions men do under stress and in otherwise grim circumstances. Some of those actions included incidents that are both hilarious and morbid.
