Biography: Mr. Murphy was a rifleman (Dogfoot GI) in world war II, he participated in major battles, most notably the battle of the Bulge, after doing his basic training at Camp Robinson, Arkansas. He crossed into Germany through the Siegfried line in Western Europe. His weapon was a Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR). He was part of the front that pushed the Germans back across the Rhine River.
