He holds his fellow crew members in high regard including, movie star/bombardier, Tim Holt. The unpleasant nature of war to, not only the airmen but also the civilian populace, weighs heavy as Mr. Greer describes in his interview. He was the author of a war diary that was turned into a successful and award winning book, 'Fire From The Sky: A Diary Over Japan' written by his son Ron Greer and Mike Wicks.
