How to Get Involved
AETN is still seeking interviewees for the In Their Words Oral History Project. We are interviewing generals and privates, "Rosie the Riveter" as well as "Willie and Joe," bomber crews and infantry, medical doctors and mess hall cooks, all in effort to tell the story of the American experience from 1941 to 1945.

We conduct interviews at a convenient location for the interviewee, usually in his or her home. Recorded interviews average 80 minutes in length. AETN scans and/or video records all photographs and mementos supporting the recorded story. AETN also provides an unedited version of the participant's interview, which is usually mailed four to five weeks after recording the interview.

If you or someone you know are part of the World War II generation and want to get involved with the In Their Words Oral History Project, simply download and complete the Interview Application Form [in PDF format] and then mail it in, or apply online. If mailing in your completed interview application, mail it to the following address.
